The Company
Founded in 1860, Sheard Packaging has been a family-owned business for three generations, becoming one of the largest corrugated plants in the UK. Located in Halifax, our site covers a total of 37,000 sqm, with almost half of this being made up of manufacturing and warehouse space.
We are proud to be one of the only remaining independently owned box plants in the country. Working with businesses all over the UK, we design, manufacture, print, store, and transport corrugated packaging solutions for eCommerce, transit, retail shelves, and more. As an independent company, we can make decisions quickly and efficiently as we react to our customers’ needs; whatever your requirements, we can help.
Thanks to our very own transport fleet, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, and 24/7 manufacturing capacity, we are able to process well in excess of 150,000,000 sqm of corrugated board every year. But despite this large output, we are renowned for our excellent levels of customer service, never compromising on quality for quantity.
Our ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications continue to drive us forward in Quality and Environmental Management. We also hold BRC Global Standard accreditation and supply our products with a full FSC Chain of Custody, so you can rest assured that your company and products are in safe, and sustainable, hands.
