We are looking for Production Operatives to join our dynamic team. You will be on a continental shift pattern, working both days and nights. The ideal candidates will be proactive team players and have experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • First and foremost, understanding and complying with all Health & Safety rules.
  • Supporting the Machine Operator, who has full responsibility for the overall operation of the machine, during the day to day running of activities.
  • You must proactively help the Machine Operator during the setup of jobs.
  • It will be your responsibility to ensure all flat sheet board fed into the machine you are assigned to meets customer expectations.
  • Once trained, you should understand what checks to do before and during production and perform them at a reasonable frequency. These include, but are not limited to:
    • Board quality Feed orientation.
    • Print quality and position.
    • Bundle quantity.
  • Communication with your team is paramount and any issues must be addressed in a timely and clear manner.
  • You and your machine crew will assist each other to achieve production targets and keep your machine running at optimum efficiency.
  • The machines undergo a weekly maintenance program and once fully trained you will take part in this.

Skills Required

  • At least 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Good level of understanding and communicating in English language.

 

Rate of pay = £29,000 per year
