JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be proactive team players and have experience working effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.

Attention to detail is a crucial skill to be able to maintain the strict customer standards that are required. This role is on a continental shift pattern, working both days and nights.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • A full understanding of all health and safety practices is absolutely fundamental to this role.
  • Supporting machine operators in day-to-day running of machines and as well as the set-up of jobs.
  • Assisting in all activities during maintenance and reporting any issues immediately to the Machine Operator.
  • Full involvement in all aspects of quality and working closely with our Quality team.
  • Ensuring all flat sheet board fed into the machines meets customer expectations.
  • Working as part of a larger team to achieve production targets.
  • Following palletisation instructions and ensure only the highest standards of product are sent to the warehouse for despatch.

Skills Required

  • Excellent understanding of health and safety instructions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures in the corrugated industry or similar.
